The Family Rate applies automatically at checkout: the first ticket is $1,999 and the second is $1,699, which works out to $1,849 per ticket. Both riders attend the same camp the same week. Riders Grouped By Ability
We group riders by ability across four levels (Green, Blue, Orange, Red) so every rider trains with peers who push them at the right pace.

Daily Film Review
Every session is filmed and reviewed with a certified coach so riders see what they felt, then fix it on the next moto.

Mindset Sessions
Riders learn the mental approach that makes good technique stick: focus, breathing, recovery between motos, and how to manage nerves at the gate.

Medical Professional On-Site
A medical professional is on-site all five days. Risk is real in this sport, and a parent should never wonder whether help is one minute away.

One Coach Per Ten Riders
Every group of about twenty riders gets a head coach plus an assistant, which works out to one coach for every ten riders on the track.

Coached Line Walks
Coaches walk the track with riders to talk through line choice, braking points, and where to commit the throttle, so riders make smarter decisions before they roll the gate.

AJ Catanzaro
AJ Catanzaro is a former AMA Pro rider and Arenacross Champion. He founded The Moto Academy in 2016 to build the kind of structured, ability-grouped training program he wished had existed when he was coming up.
AJ’s curriculum is the framework every TMA 5-Day Camp is built on. The Moto Academy’s certified coaches deliver it on the ground at all twenty-five camps across the country each year.

For qualifying families, the Moto Academy Scholarship covers up to 60% of tuition. Applications are reviewed within two weeks — apply early so your camp options stay open. Email enrollment@themotoacademy.com.

How does the Father’s Day Family Rate work?

Can both riders attend different camps?
No. The Family Rate requires both riders attending the same camp on the same dates. The shared week is the entire point. If you want both riders at different camps, each ticket books at the standard $1,999 rate. A Camp Advisor can walk you through other options.
What’s the refund policy?
Sixty days or more before camp, you can refund either ticket back to your original payment method. Within sixty days of camp, the ticket converts to store credit that never expires and transfers to any TMA offering. Family Rate orders follow the same policy as standard 5-Day Camp tickets.
What’s included in the 5-Day Camp?
Five days of coaching with riders grouped by ability, one coach for every ten riders, daily film review with a certified coach, mindset sessions, rider and parent education, a medical professional on-site all week, a camp t-shirt, and the full TMA pre-camp prep series (bike prep, lodging tips, waivers, what to bring).
What’s NOT included?
Lodging, meals, transportation, and bikes are not included. Riders book their own hotel or camping, bring or rent a bike, and arrange transport. A food truck is sometimes on-site but not guaranteed.
Do you offer bike rentals?
Yes, at US camps only. Rentals are $600 to $1,250 per week depending on the bike. Six bikes are available per camp, first-come first-served: two Stark Varg Electric, a KX250, a YZ450, a KX450, and a CRF110 (the $600 entry option for smaller riders). Email info@themotoacademy.com with subject “Bike Rental Inquiry” to reserve.
What does a Camp Advisor call cover?
A free fifteen-minute call with a Camp Advisor. You can talk through which camp dates fit your summer, how the Family Rate works, financing options, what to bring, where to stay, and any questions about your rider’s level or fit.
Is AJ Catanzaro at every camp?
AJ’s curriculum is the framework every TMA camp is built on. The Moto Academy’s certified coaches deliver it on the ground at all twenty-five camps each year. AJ visits camps personally throughout the season, and dates are announced as they’re confirmed.
What age and ability levels are welcome?
All ages and all ability levels. Riders are grouped by ability, not age, so a parent and a teenager can train together in the same camp without slowing either rider’s progress. Coaches assess each rider on day one and place them in the right group.
How does in-house financing work?
You split the cost across the months between booking and the camp start date, up to roughly twelve months. The balance is due before camp starts. Book earlier and the monthly amount comes down. No credit check, no interest. Email enrollment@themotoacademy.com to set up a plan.
Can the Family Rate combine with the Scholarship?
No — it’s one or the other. You can use either the Father’s Day Family Rate or a Moto Academy Scholarship award on a booking, not both. In-house financing, on the other hand, can be combined with the Family Rate. The Scholarship is need-based and covers up to 60% of tuition; email enrollment@themotoacademy.com to apply, and a Camp Advisor can help you choose the path that saves the most.
Are UK camps included?
Yes. The Family Rate applies to any TMA 5-Day Camp, including the UK camps (Fraddon and Moto 101 this August). The pair pricing shown above is for US camps; for a UK camp, add two tickets for the same camp and a Camp Advisor will confirm the matching UK rate.
