11. SMS / Text Messaging Policy
Last updated: June 15, 2026
11.1 The Program
The Moto Academy (“we,” “us”) operates a text-messaging (SMS/MMS) program (the “Program”). Messages are sent through our messaging providers, including Project Broadcast and ActiveCampaign. By opting in, you agree to this SMS policy and to the SMS Terms in our Terms & Conditions.
11.2 How You Opt In
You join the Program by providing your mobile number and opting in to texts — for example, at checkout on themotoacademy.com, or in person at one of our camps or classes. Consent to receive text messages is not a condition of any purchase. You confirm you are the subscriber or an authorized user of the number, and that you are 18 or older (or have a parent’s or guardian’s permission). Messages may be sent using automated technology.
11.3 What We Send
Depending on how you opted in, you may receive:
Service and transactional messages — e.g., camp and class communications, schedule changes, weather cancellations, and booking or order updates.
Marketing and promotional messages (only if you opt in to marketing texts) — e.g., new classes and camps, events, special offers, and alumni/rebooking offers.
11.4 Message Frequency
Message frequency varies based on your activity and our schedule.
11.5 Charges
Message and data rates may apply. Message delivery depends on your wireless carrier and is not guaranteed; carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages.
11.6 Opt-Out & Help
You can opt out at any time by replying STOP to any message; you may receive one final message confirming you’ve been unsubscribed. Reply HELP for help, or contact us at info@themotoacademy.com.
11.7 We Do Not Sell or Share Your Number
We do not sell or rent your mobile number. No mobile information will be shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes. Text-messaging opt-in data and consent will not be shared with any third parties. We share your number only with the service providers that help us operate the Program (for example, Project Broadcast and ActiveCampaign, and the messaging carriers/aggregators they use), and only so they can deliver our messages to you.
11.8 Security & Retention
We store your number securely and use it only to operate the Program. We keep it while you remain opted in; if you opt out, we stop sending Program messages and may keep a record of your opt-out to honor your request.
11.9 Program Changes
We may change or end the Program with reasonable notice (by text or email). Continued participation after a change means you accept it.
12. Third-Party Links
Our Sites may link to external sites; we are not responsible for their privacy practices. Review their policies before providing data.
13. Policy Changes
We may update this Policy periodically. The “Last modified” date shows the current version. Material changes will be announced via email or site banner.
